In the aftermath of typhoon Glenda, Copylandia’s Legazpi branch held a two-day feeding drive among the hard-hit communities in Albay, Bicol region.
The first feeding program was held last July 20 in remote Brgy. Busac, in the town of Oas. Led by Legazpi Branch Manager Glenn Maceda, the 13-member team was comprised of Raymundo Rollo, Maria Fe Otilla, April Alen Abion, Tyron Joseph Barcellano, Ryan Aparici, Rodel Luces, Ronnie Camposano, Michael Angelo Marjalino, Lloyd Tristan Roncesvalles and Monalisa Villaraza. They were joined by ComColor Bus crewmembers Jomar Reodava and Johnny Pordan.
Despite the heavy rains and constant power outages, the Legazpi branch was able to feed 286 people while bringing much-needed comfort and cheer to the outlying community of Busak.
The following week, July 26, the team held a second feeding program in Brgy. Cabangan West in Legazpi City. Solutions consultant Ailine Espinosa joined the 11-strong team. The second program managed to feed 318 people and earned the goodwill and deep gratitude of the Brgy. Council of Cabangan West.

The Copylandia Feeding Program began in 2010 as one of the main cornerstones of Copylandia’s corporate social responsibility. The brainchild of Executive Vice President and Co-founder Bernadette Juarez, the feeding program is Copylandia’s way of giving back to surrounding communities while instilling socio-civic virtues among its members.
Copylandia’s Legazpi team
“After typhoon Glenda hit Bicol region, the days that followed were heart breaking. Electricity and water supply were lost, and remain sporadic even now. Inspite of this, the team never hesitated to conduct our feeding program. Though we were as equally affected by the typhoon as the communities we visited, the spirit of selflessness and bayanihan lives on in Team Legazpi.
I am proud to be working with such a team.”
