President Hayama stated that his visit was a recognition of Copylandia’s outstanding performance last year, as he was not able to make it to the ceremonies on May 21 in Tokyo where Copylandia was given the two top awards in the Asian Region for 2013: The Best RISO Distributor Award and the Best ComColor Distributor Award.

As part of his itinerary, Mr. Hayama toured Copylandia’s showroom, known to be the largest office and printing equipment showroom in the country. The distinguished visitors from RISO also inspected Copylandia’s offices and facilities, from the receiving and warehouse areas to the busy print operations center.

One of the country’s biggest names in office and printing equipment, Copylandia has successfully made RISO a common business lingo for digital duplicating, since it first introduced the Risograph in 1993. The company is also the exclusive Philippine distributor of the revolutionary ComColor printers by RISO, the world’s fastest cut-sheet full color printers with the lowest running cost.

According to Mr. Juarez, “To be visited by the head of a global brand is truly an honor. It reflects the deep and dynamic partnership we have with RISO, a bond that stretches all the way back when we first introduced Riso in the Philippines 21 years ago. This visit of President Hayama was preceded by the visit of a Riso technical team, headed by its Global Technical Manager Hiromasa Nakajima, to conduct refresher technical training for our Service Engineers. The untiring support from RISO is the reason why we are able to maintain  the leadership for its products in the market.”

According to President Hayama, the value of shares of the company has increased five times since 2009 when they first introduced the ComColor. The digital full-color printer is designed for high volume, low-cost printing and publishing of both black and white and color documents, and has been widely received in the global market.
